Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong collaboration skills and a positive, solutions-oriented approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students per IEPs
- Evaluate and assess students’ communication abilities using standardized tools
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all services and progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a knowledgeable team member
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote language development and engagement
