Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join the Capital Region Family Health team. This is a fantastic chance to become part of an established outpatient practice that is experiencing high patient demand, supported by a hospital affiliation.

Located in East Greenbush, just a short drive from Exit 9 on I-90, Capital Region Family Health is a well-respected group consisting of 13 healthcare providers. This dedicated team of physicians and advanced practitioners offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services for families, including pediatric care for children from newborns to 17 years old. Services for both adults and children include:

• Routine care for illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
• Preventive health and wellness screenings
• Routine immunizations and vaccinations
• Annual physicals (including those for employment, insurance, and school)
• Sick visits by appointment

Position Highlights

• Shared call rotation, averaging approximately 1 in every 70 days, with RN triage support
• Physician-governed organization with a physician-led Joint Oversight Committee
• Flexible scheduling options available - choose between a 3, 4, or 5-day work week
• Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for additional compensation opportunities
• Teaching opportunities available for first-year AMC students and precepting NP/PA students
• Potential for hybrid work in Hospital Medicine if desired
• Leadership and administrative roles available for interested physicians

Requirements

Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certified with a valid NYS License and DEA
• Exceptional clinical and communication skills, with a strong dedication to team-oriented care
• A keen interest in providing Primary Care for patients of all ages

Recruitment Package

We offer a competitive base salary with the potential for additional earnings through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses. The salary range is:

• Base salary: $250,000 - $260,000
• Starting bonus of up to $75,000
• Retention bonus of $25,000
• Resident compensation available - up to $50,000 per year for early sign-on
