Job Opportunity: Part-Time Family Practitioner (MD/DO)

Our organization is seeking a dedicated part-time Family Practitioner (MD/DO) to join a thriving clinic-based practice at our International Clinic, which is part of the Center for Global Health & Healing (CGHH) program. About the International Clinic

The International Clinic focuses on addressing the healthcare needs of families and individuals who have recently settled in our area through refugee resettlement and various immigration pathways. We are committed to delivering respectful, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and equitable care to all families in the Treasure Valley.

Our clinic serves a wide array of patients from different backgrounds and employs various programs to eliminate barriers to healthcare access. These initiatives include:

• Home visits
• Collaboration with the local CARE Clinic
• Community Interpreter services
• Partnerships with numerous community organizations

Our team is passionate about providing equitable healthcare and is dedicated to enhancing the quality and accessibility of medical services for vulnerable populations. We utilize an integrative care model that fosters collaboration among providers, interpreters, social workers, health advisors, and resettlement agencies to ensure continuity of care for our patients.

The International Clinic is conveniently situated near the Regional Medical Center, and additional services available at this location include Ob-Gyn, Travel Medicine, and Civil Surgeon services.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
• Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment
• Valid Idaho medical license to practice in all its phases, along with a valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
