Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Ansgar, Iowa

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in Ansgar, Iowa. This role encompasses a full spectrum of practice, including outpatient clinic responsibilities in St. and inpatient rounding as well as emergency room duties in Osage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a collaborative team of 5 Physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers across two clinics.
  • Provide care for patients from newborns to seniors, with optional shared OB care.
  • Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with options for a 4 or 4.5-day work week.
  • Utilize on-site lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services for patient convenience.
  • Work alongside specialists, including a Podiatrist, General Surgeon, Optometrist, and CRNAs.
  • Admit patients to the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital recognized as a Top 100 hospital with around 600 annual admissions.
  • Access a wide range of services at Mitchell County, including General Surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, medical nutrition therapy, and various imaging services.
  • Be part of an affiliate network with MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional teaching facility.
  • Eligible for NHSC site, PSLF, and Rural Iowa Primary Care Loan Repayment programs.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school.
  • Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating physician competency.
  • Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa.
  • Attractive bonus package of $250,000!
