Our organization is currently looking for a Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician to become a part of our dedicated team within the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

We collaborate with a specialized facility that provides exceptional rehabilitation services for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 21. Our focus is on delivering top-notch care in a welcoming environment, supported by board-certified physicians and trained staff who prioritize each child's medical needs with compassion and expertise.

This medical center stands as the primary tertiary referral source in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties, catering to a community of nearly 4 million residents.

Opportunities Available:
  • Inpatient acute rehabilitation for ages 0 to 21, including a new initiative for infants transitioning from the NICU who may face feeding challenges, delayed milestones, or anxiety with handling.
  • Outpatient practice primarily focused on conditions such as cerebral palsy and spasticity management (including ITB and Botulinum), with opportunities to engage in multidisciplinary clinics like the Home Ventilator clinic (for SMA, MD, Severe CP), Hypertonicity/SDR clinic, Spina Bifida, high-risk infant program, and Muscular Dystrophy clinic.
  • Teaching opportunities within the PMR residency program.
  • Research support is available within the PMR department for faculty interested in pursuing research projects, particularly with the new Totally Infants’ Program at our partner facility, which has several initiatives underway.
Lifestyle Considerations:
  • On-call Duties: Participation in the on-call pool for Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation units/teams may be required, depending on availability and necessity.
  • Working Hours: Generally from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with earlier hours on Fridays.
  • Patient Visit Duration: Approximately 20-30 minutes for follow-up visits and 30-40 minutes for new patients, with flexibility for new hires.
Compensation & Benefits:

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $210,000 to $250,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
