Evening Remote Radiologist

Job Opportunity: Faculty Position in Radiology and Medical Imaging

Our organization is looking for a faculty member trained in musculoskeletal radiology (MSK) to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging. The primary workplace will be at our medical center located in Maywood, Illinois, which is about 12 miles from downtown Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical services across a variety of imaging modalities and procedures related to musculoskeletal imaging.
• Participate in interventional procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, bone marrow sampling, and biopsies, primarily at the main campus.
• Fulfill evening and weekend plain film call duties remotely, utilizing advanced PACS and voice recognition systems.
• Engage in clinical education and training for residents, demonstrating a strong commitment to teaching.
• Explore opportunities for involvement in clinical and translational research if desired.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible in Radiology.
• Completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently across various imaging modalities.

Working Conditions

Positions are available as either on-site or hybrid, with the latter requiring some presence at the main campus for specific procedures.
