Schedule: Full-time, five days per week
Setting: On-site elementary school assignment

About the Position
A school system in St. Johns County, Florida is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow to join its student support team for the 2026–2027 school year.
This full-time position will primarily serve elementary students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. The district is open to both experienced SLPs and new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship. Candidates who perform well may be considered for future opportunities with the district.

• Elementary school student population
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
• Services provided entirely on-site
• Caseload size and school placement will be reviewed during the interview
• Potential contract renewal for a clinician who is a strong fit

Candidate Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Florida SLP license or eligibility for Florida Clinical Fellowship credentials
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required for established SLPs
• Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff

What the SLP Will Do
• Evaluate students’ speech, language, fluency, and communication abilities
• Create individualized therapy plans and measurable IEP goals
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services
• Track student progress and update interventions when needed
• Consult with teachers regarding classroom strategies and accommodations
• Work closely with families, administrators, and special education professionals
• Attend IEP, eligibility, and student-support meetings
• Complete service logs, progress reports, and other required documentation
• Follow district procedures and applicable state and federal regulations

Onboarding Requirements
• Completion of district and company credentialing
• Background screening and fingerprint clearance
• Verification of Florida licensure or Clinical Fellowship eligibility
• Verification of professional certifications, when applicable
• Internal candidate eligibility interview
