We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join a growing team in Cordova, Tennessee. This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule, low prescription volume, and the chance to work closely with patients receiving life-changing specialty therapies.

Position Highlights

  • Monday–Friday Schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients receiving specialty and infusion therapies.
  • Manage treatment plans for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions.
  • Support patients utilizing factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, subcutaneous medications, and IV infusion treatments.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, side effect management, adherence strategies, and safe medication handling.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Partner with reimbursement specialists to assist with prior authorizations, insurance navigation, and patient assistance programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications

  • Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required.
  • Specialty pharmacy, infusion pharmacy, or clinical patient management experience preferred.
  • CareTend experience is highly preferred, but training is available.
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is preferred.
  • Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
