Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Tomball, TX

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a per diem basis. This role involves supporting pharmacists by accurately distributing prescribed medications and offering vital information to patients about their prescriptions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering superior customer service and maintaining a high standard of care.

Location: Conroe, TX
Schedule/Hours (per shift):

• Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
• Scheduled shifts spanning early August through mid-September, totaling approximately 99 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distributing medications as prescribed by licensed practitioners
• Providing clear, friendly information to patients regarding medication usage
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintaining efficient workflow to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License required
• Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a focus on excellent customer service
