Step into a rewarding opportunity to provide pivotal speech-language pathology support within a dynamic educational setting. Two skilled SLPs are needed to support preschool and middle school students in the San Juan Capistrano area during a Leave of Absence coverage. This contract assignment offers a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday) over a defined period, allowing you to make a tangible difference in young lives while collaborating closely with on-site school teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active California SLP license in good standing.
  • Prior experience working in a school-based setting, ideally with preschool or middle school populations.
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and implement personalized therapy plans for a diverse caseload.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with a collaborative attitude.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students at either a preschool or middle school campus.
  • Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and provide input for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to foster optimal student outcomes.
  • Document progress in accordance with district standards and maintain clear, timely case records.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment that supports students’ communication goals.

This contract-based assignment offers an on-site role beginning mid-October, with an anticipated completion before winter break.
