The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.\nPosition Details:
\nThis is a part time position at Mercy Aurora
\nShift: Overnights: 6p-6:30a
\nBenefit Eligible
\nMinimum Qualifications:
\nEducation: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
\nExperience: no experience required
\nLicensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
\nCertification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
\nPreferred Qualifications:
\nPreferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
\nProficiency in operating imaging equipment.
\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
\nPhysical Requirements:
\n• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
\n• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
\n• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
