Compensation: Gross pay ranges from $1,491.84 to $2,067.48 per week, translating to an hourly rate of $41.44 to $57.43.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality of care, documentation, and adherence to regulations.
• Implement immediate adjustments to care plans to enhance patient safety.
• Conduct rounds with patients and families to improve their experience.
• Act as a resource for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Provide direct patient care as necessary to ensure safe staffing levels.
• Support daily operations of the unit and address any patient care or safety issues.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments effectively.
• Supervise, mentor, and assess staff performance; assist with performance evaluations.
• Ensure sufficient supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory management.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversee nursing staff and patient care during assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital, specifically in a CCU setting.
• At least one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital, with critical care experience required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification to be obtained within six months of hire and maintain.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range of $41.44 to $57.43 for this role. This estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for other locations. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
