Key Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray machinery to capture high-quality images.
• Position patients appropriately for optimal imaging results.
• Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards for radiation safety.
• Verify imaging orders to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
• Manage the transfer of images through PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Follow established infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Assist clinical staff with basic patient care duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
