Gynecologist, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, OBGYN, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery
Job Description
Our organization is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to enhance our dynamic Minimally Invasive Gynecology (MIGS) academic practice, which has a strong reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery and hold Board Eligibility or Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. A New York State License or eligibility for obtaining one is mandatory. Experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery, is essential. While clinical and translational research experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care for patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
- Engage in research activities and contribute to the academic mission of the department.
- Participate in educational initiatives, including teaching residents and fellows.
- Collaborate with faculty across various specialties within the department.
Required Qualifications:
- MD degree or its foreign equivalent.
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Eligibility for a New York State License.
- Completion of a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery, with experience in robotic surgery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical or translational research.
