Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple campuses in the Pasadena area. This onsite role involves working within school settings, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload of around 60 students. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, playing a pivotal role in student development and communication success.
Ideal qualifications and experience for this position include:
- Active SLP licensure with full CCCs
- Proven experience delivering speech-language services in school environments
- Adaptability to travel between various campus locations as assigned
- Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a moderate-to-large caseload efficiently
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Document sessions, progress notes, and required compliance paperwork
- Consult with teachers, coordinators, and families to support student success
- Attend meetings as scheduled with the Coordinator of Evaluations and relevant school personnel
- Support students’ IEP goals and participate in eligibility and planning meetings
