School Speech Language Pathologist - San Jose, CA

This in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role involves providing critical support at various campuses as the new academic year begins. You’ll collaborate closely with site teams, share insights with fellow professionals, and help ensure students receive the support they need for their communication goals.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active SLP license preferred; strong consideration also given to experienced candidates without California licensure
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) highly valued
• School-based SLP experience strongly desired, ideally with assessment and support for diverse caseloads
• Excellent organizational skills and flexibility—adapt to different school sites as needed
• Ability to deliver both group and individual therapy services for students ranging from preschool through high school
• Effective communicator comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and fellow specialists

Position Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and treatment for students across different school sites, focusing on effective support for large caseloads and those with overflow needs
• Travel between campuses with a daily schedule at a single site, but rotating assignments each day
• Support general education and special education populations, including direct services and assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate
• Collaborate with staff and administration to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions for students

These contract assignments include:

• August 7, 2026, start date with varying durations: some roles extend until the school fills positions internally, while others last through September.
• Standard work hours, approximately 8:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
