Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across both a Junior High and an Elementary school in a vibrant educational community near Garland, TX. This contract role begins as soon as possible, covering a maternity leave for the start of the school year through October 19, followed by additional coverage at a high school from late September through mid-November.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy settings preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads for junior high, elementary, and high school students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within assigned schools
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all services rendered
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students at different school levels
