Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain the necessary credentials
  • Experience working with children in educational settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, utilizing evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
  • Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports in compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities
