Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain the necessary credentials
- Experience working with children in educational settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports in compliance with all relevant regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities
