Job Description
Make a direct impact as a BCBA/Autism Specialist providing essential support to students and school staff for the 2026–2027 academic year. Based onsite near Westfield, MA, this full-time contract opportunity spans four school locations, providing a dynamic environment for your clinical and collaborative skills. You’ll have the chance to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and offer classroom coaching, all while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Your expertise will guide teachers and paraprofessionals in supporting students with autism, enhancing learning outcomes through data-driven consultation and hands-on support. Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification (include a screenshot of current certification with your application)
- School-based BCBA and autism intervention experience highly preferred
- Strong background in conducting FBAs and developing effective BIPs
- Proven ability to coach and train educational staff on evidence-based strategies
- Familiarity with supporting autism classrooms and collaborating with diverse teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite behavioral consultation across four school sites
- Complete FBAs and craft tailored BIPs for students in need
- Coach teachers and paraprofessionals on implementing behavioral interventions
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary planning meetings
- Ensure consistent communication and support throughout the school year
- Maintain compliance by passing drug screening, fingerprinting, and required background checks
- Travel reliably between assigned locations; punctuality and professional attendance essential
