The Gig CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. The Gig CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist will float between the designated Mercy facilities.\nPosition Details:

\nCT Technologist: $40.00/Hr

\nQualifications:
\nCT Technologist - GIG
\n- \n
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours. \n
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience \n
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. \n
- Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography); Basic Life Support (BLS) \n

\nMinimum Qualifications:
\n Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours.
\n Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
\n Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
\n Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography);
Life support certification current upon hire and in alignment with Mercy policy no later than 90 days after hire.

\n Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Physical requirements/demands:
\n- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
\n- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
\n- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
