Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a contract School Psychologist working with K-12 learners in an itinerant capacity for the 2026-2027 school year. Located near Cleveland, this position partners you with a supportive educational environment and agency, ensuring you have the backing and resources you need to shine. This full-time, Monday through Friday, 40-hour-per-week assignment begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027.
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct psychological assessments and provide direct and consultative support services for students across multiple schools.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.
- Promote positive mental health and safe school environments through data-driven practices.
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed to students and staff.
- Foster a culture of inclusion and advocate for students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Current certification or eligibility for Ohio licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with K-12 student caseloads across diverse settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in an itinerant model and travel between multiple schools as needed.
