Job Description

The anticipated schedule begins August 17th, 2026, and runs through June 4th, 2027, for a total of 30 hours per week.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active and current NC Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to collaborate with other special education providers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate, encourage, and adapt to students' unique needs
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for children with varied needs
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ growth and participation in class
- Participate actively in meetings and contribute to a supportive interdisciplinary team
