This position involves working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment for four days each week, perfectly balancing professional dedication with personal time. The anticipated schedule begins August 17th, 2026, and runs through June 4th, 2027, for a total of 30 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active and current NC Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to collaborate with other special education providers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, encourage, and adapt to students' unique needs

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for children with varied needs
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ growth and participation in class
  • Participate actively in meetings and contribute to a supportive interdisciplinary team
