Step into a rewarding contract role as a 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher at the middle school level for the upcoming academic year. This is an onsite position focused on delivering engaging, relevant technology instruction to students, helping equip them with essential digital skills for success both inside and outside the classroom. The contract runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027, and is ideal for educational professionals with a passion for technology and a commitment to student growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field is required.
• Possession of a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with the relevant endorsement(s).
• Demonstrated understanding of curriculum planning, design, and instruction within the technology discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience teaching middle school-aged students is highly desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach and develop curriculum for 7th and 8th Grade technology classes, incorporating hands-on activities and current technology trends.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
• Assess and support individual student progress, providing feedback and differentiated instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to integrate technology learning across disciplines.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school community events.
