School Psychologist - Burnsville, Minnesota

This role invites passionate professionals ready to provide a broad range of school psychological services, collaborating closely with educators, families, and administrators to foster student well-being and academic success. Full-time, part-time, and hybrid in-person schedules are available, offering flexibility to meet your preferences within typical school hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Qualifications:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent).
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (issued by PELSB).
• Commitment to equity, culturally relevant practices, and inclusive service delivery.
• Proficiency in school psychology’s best practices: assessment, intervention, mental health supports.
• Preferred: National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility.
• Experience supporting MTSS with consultation, problem-solving, and intervention support.
• Strong leadership and facilitation, ability to engage and support adult learners.
• Knowledgeable in crisis prevention, intervention, postvention, and comprehensive mental health support.
• Familiarity with federal and state special education law and compliance.
• Effective communicator with proven collaboration skills.
• Background working in urban/multicultural educational environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely, thorough psychological assessments and interpret results for diverse student populations.
• Deliver targeted interventions and mental health supports aligned with MTSS best practices.
• Collaborate with school teams on problem-solving, planning, and student support.
• Consult with educators, families, and external providers, building trust across stakeholders.
• Guide crisis response and support the emotional well-being of students and staff.
• Monitor compliance with all relevant special education and mental health regulations.
