This contract opportunity supports area students for the first six weeks of the upcoming school year, playing a pivotal role while the district’s new hires complete their licensure observation hours. As a full-time SLPA, you’ll provide direct support across one or more campuses within the district. This assignment begins August 10, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude September 25, 2026—with potential for extension based on district needs.
What You’ll Need:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure
- Previous schools-based SLPA experience preferred
- Ability to complete required fingerprints and background checks promptly
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
