Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - New Berlin, New York

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An experienced Pharmacy Manager is needed for a dynamic retail pharmacy location in Oneonta, NY. This leadership role involves overseeing all pharmacy operations to ensure regulatory compliance, financial success, and excellent patient care. The position offers an opportunity for either an interim or permanent placement with a schedule that supports work-life balance.

• Oneonta, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the registered supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
• Manage the overall pharmacy operations, including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration.
• Lead and develop pharmacy support staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies.
• Facilitate training and performance reviews of pharmacy associates.
• Participate in business development activities within the store and local community.
• Provide patient counseling on medications, dosage, side effects, and therapeutic compliance.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and wellness programs.
• Maintain pharmacy workspace cleanliness and uphold quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety.
• Complete all required continuing education programs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy License.
• Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent Pharmacy Manager experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
