Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in a dynamic school environment. This onsite position runs through May 2027 and requires adaptability, as candidates may work across several locations supporting a diverse student caseload of 60. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality speech and language services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance students’ educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and assignments across multiple school sites
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility for immediate start and commitment through the term
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document student performance, maintain compliance, and prepare necessary reports
- Participate in eligibility and evaluation meetings as requested by the Coordinator of Evaluations
