This contract assignment is located near Redwood City, CA, and is designed for a professional with their CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) who’s ready to provide impactful services across a supportive educational setting. With a manageable caseload capped at 55 students, you can focus on delivering high-quality care without being stretched too thin.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid or eligible California SLP license
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Committed to serving a diverse student population across various ages and needs
  • Must be able to work independently—no SLPAs will be assigned

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapeutic services to students
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success and participation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for goal setting and progress monitoring
  • Adapt and modify therapy approaches to address evolving student needs throughout the school year
