Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, serving students of all ages in a supportive educational environment. This school-based position begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 21, 2027, with full-time hours across a standard Monday through Friday schedule. The focus is on providing essential psychological services and support for an assigned caseload of approximately 80 students, all based at one welcoming school site.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE School Psychologist License covering all levels
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments for students across diverse grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling supports—individual and group—for students facing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and crisis intervention efforts
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
