This full-time, contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering an impactful position working with diverse learners. You'll work at a single school site, focusing on students across all grade levels and overseeing a manageable caseload of approximately 80 students.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Massachusetts DESE School Psychologist License covering all levels
- Experience working across a range of age groups in educational settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective consultation with staff, families, and students
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and recommending targeted interventions
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and data-driven practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective supports and interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation, serving as a resource for behavioral and academic concerns
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings, facilitate the development of individualized education programs
