This contract position provides the opportunity to work closely with children ages 3 to 5 in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) setting, helping them achieve vital communication milestones.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Minnesota SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience working in a school-based environment, especially with early childhood or preschool-aged children, is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Compassion and dedication to supporting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to children ages 3-5 within the ECSE caseload
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and set appropriate therapy goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ success in the classroom and beyond
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
