Job Description
Make an impact in early childhood education by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive school environment near Blaine, MN. This contract position provides the opportunity to work closely with children ages 3 to 5 in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) setting, helping them achieve vital communication milestones.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Minnesota SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in a school-based environment, especially with early childhood or preschool-aged children, is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Compassion and dedication to supporting diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to children ages 3-5 within the ECSE caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and set appropriate therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ success in the classroom and beyond
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
