Inspire students and make a meaningful difference as you provide speech and language services within a supportive educational environment. Two full-time positions are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC preferred; SLPA not considered at this time) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. These roles offer a structured yet flexible contract, working closely with staff and students in elementary and intermediate school settings near Portage, IN.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Indiana
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with elementary-age children
  • Proficient in assessment, intervention, and collaborative IEP development
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable managing moderate-to-large caseloads
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and with varying student ages

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services aligned with student IEPs
  • Complete assessments, maintain records, and document progress
  • Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and support professionals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP/eligibility conferences
  • Engage families to support student communication goals
  • Utilize and recommend augmentative communication strategies when needed

Role Details:

  • Full-time, contract-based (7 hours/day, flexible scheduling with 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Preference will be given based on candidate background and placement flexibility
  • Smaller preschool/elementary caseload (70–80 students) or multi-site caseload (~75 students across grades 2–8), with available SLA support
