Our organization is on the lookout for a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialization in Sports Medicine, particularly in Shoulder Arthroscopy. This is a unique chance to be one of the pioneering surgeons in our newly formed hospital-employed practice and contribute to the development of a top-tier orthopedic service line.

Position Overview
  • Role: Full-time Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, Shoulder Arthroplasty, and Arthroscopy
  • Surgeries conducted at:
    • St. Peters Hospital - Albany, NY
    • Samaritan Hospital - Troy, NY
  • Referral Network: Strong pipeline through a comprehensive primary care network
  • Support: Backing from experienced inpatient and outpatient APP teams in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Environment: Collaborative and physician-friendly atmosphere focused on delivering high-quality care
  • Growth: Opportunity to help establish and expand a new orthopedic service line

Qualifications
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • 5-10 years of post-training experience required
  • Strong clinical and surgical expertise in shoulder arthroscopy
  • Dedication to patient-centered, team-based care
Compensation Package

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Salary Guarantee: $725,000 - $800,000 for experienced surgeons over a 3-year period
  • The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
  • Starting Bonus: $25,000
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000
