Occupational Therapist School Setting - Denver, CO

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license required, with experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification required; applications in process will be considered if proof of submission is provided
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work well alongside teachers, support staff, and families
• Solid understanding of pediatric OT practices, particularly as they pertain to IEPs, sensory, and fine motor strategies in a school environment
• Capable of independent caseload management and documentation within required timelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with varying needs, fostering skills for academic and daily living success
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress in accordance with school and district policy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate positive outcomes for students and provide support to instructional staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions as assigned
• Maintain organized, thorough records and comply with all guidelines for ethical and effective practice
