School Psychologist | Burnsville, Minnesota

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated school psychologist to make a meaningful impact within an educational setting near Burnsville, MN. This contract assignment runs from late August 2026 through December 18, 2026, covering two maternity leaves. Working full-time on site, you’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive psychological support and services to students, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Minnesota School Psychologist license or certification is required
• Prior experience developing IEP goals and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) utilizing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Strong working knowledge of state and federal special education regulations
• Excellent ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Skill in evaluation, consultation, and direct student support services within a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations, consultations, and interventions to meet student needs
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of IEP goals, using FBAs to inform Positive Behavior Support Plans
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations and educational standards
• Partner with teachers, families, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as necessary
• Maintain thorough documentation and reports related to student services and outcomes
