Seeking two dynamic, knowledgeable professionals with advanced special education and autism expertise to provide consultation and direct services within a 35-mile radius of Medford, Oregon, covering areas from Ashland up through Eagle Point and Grants Pass.

Use your experience supporting students on the autism spectrum (across all levels of need and learning environments) to empower teachers, students, and families. This is a full-time, onsite contract role—perfect for those passionate about school-based impact and enthusiastic about serving the diverse needs of rural and regional communities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Oregon Teaching License in Special Education, or current TSPC licensure for SLP/School Psychologist; BCBA (with autism specialization and school familiarity) will also be considered
• Minimum 3 years working with students with autism across various grade and severity levels, including both higher-functioning and significantly impacted/non-speaking youth
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive autism evaluations and impact assessments
• Skilled at navigating inclusive/general ed and self-contained classrooms
• Strong collaborative, consultative communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the Medford-area service region

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with K-12 educators, caregivers, and support staff to develop effective supports for students on the autism spectrum
• Conduct functional and impact-based assessments, develop strategies, and recommend evidence-based interventions
• Serve as an expert resource on autism for school teams, providing training and coaching as needed
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records
• Actively participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary planning meetings
