An engaging, full-time contract opportunity awaits for experienced BCBAs who are passionate about supporting K-12 learners in the North Richland Hills region. This on-site position (no virtual option) will have you collaborating within a dynamic district setting, primarily providing evaluative support and behavioral consultation to school psychologists.
In this highly valued itinerant role, you will travel between assigned schools to conduct direct observations and specialized assessments. Responsibilities include data collection, Functional Behavior Assessments, and administering tools such as the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R), and Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS). Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE) for a diverse student population.
Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification with an active Texas license
- Previous experience in a school-based environment (highly preferred)
- Proficiency in administering behavioral and skills-based assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS)
- Strong consultative skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Comfortable working in an itinerant capacity within the district
- Must complete fingerprinting through TEA unless already cleared; fingerprint clearance required prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral and skills-based assessments
- Provide consultative support and data-driven recommendations to school psychologists (LSSP)
- Implement data collection systems and evaluate behavioral strategies
- Support comprehensive evaluation processes for students with diverse needs
