Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or working with school-aged children
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with educators and families
- Proficiency in evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, services delivered, and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success in the classroom environment
- Conduct screenings and provide recommendations for further evaluation as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding students’ needs
