This is a full-time, itinerant position supporting students from Pre-K through transition ages, rotating between various sites. As the Vision Related Services Leader, you’ll guide and mentor colleagues, advancing best practices while ensuring every student receives top-notch support. Along the way, you’ll work hands-on with a dedicated team, refine your leadership skills, and gain exposure to a variety of educational approaches and philosophies—making this an invaluable step forward for personal and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with a visual impairment endorsement
• Master’s Degree in Special Education or closely related field
• Minimum five years of school-based experience teaching students with visual impairments
• Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting
• Willingness to travel between multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality vision services to students aged Pre-K to transition (young adult)
• Mentor, coach, and train both new and returning staff members
• Collaborate in problem solving and advocating for resources
• Model and share best practices across campus sites
