\nResponsibilities\n
\n
\nThe technical project engineer will leverage expertise in Freudenberg fabric-/ rubber- and metal expansion joints to work for the engineering team. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of expansion joints, material knowledge, process and engineering tools knowledge and the ability to manage and execute daily engineering tasks effectively. The technical project engineer will participate and execute all engineering/project activities at the Broken Arrow facility and collaborate with production, quality and sales departments across the globe to optimize resource allocation as needed.\n
\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities\n
\nPerform engineering tasks using working knowledge of FFL and industry standards.\n
\nDrive and support all engineering activities at the Broken Arrow facility, managing projects from concept through completion.\n
\nTake responsibility for quoting, design execution, and technical deliverables, including during peak workloads; proactively communicate status and capacity with your manager.\n
\nServe as the primary technical point of contact for FEJ/MEJ and REJ (RKS) engineering solutions, collaborating closely with key regional customers.\n
\nProvide technical support to existing and expanding customers throughout the American markets.\n
\nParticipate in daily technical operations by addressing technical inquiries, resolving engineering challenges, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.\n
\nExecute day to day engineering initiatives aligned with global SSS objectives.\n
\nEnsure all technical requirements, responsibilities, and performance expectations are met in accordance with customer specifications and internal standards.\n
\nEvaluate engineering risks, assess potential impacts, and propose actionable mitigation strategies.\n
\nContribute to the development of innovative products, technologies, and engineering processes.\n
\nWork effectively within an international, cross functional team environment.\n
\nTravel approximately 40% to support customer visits, sales activities, and field service needs.\n
\nEnsure professional, consistent, and standardized program management across all assigned projects.\n
\nApply established processes, systems, tools, and control mechanisms to enhance Program and Launch Management.\n
\nTrack and manage program performance through KPIs, project controls, and structured escalation where required.\n
\nDrive all assigned projects in accordance with FFL standards, ensuring milestone quality and on schedule delivery.\n
\nCoordinate cost calculations, supply chain support, and material planning for platform projects.\n
\nCollaborate with local and regional managers to ensure project alignment, visibility, and success.\n
\nMaintain clear communication, documentation, and transparency throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.\n

\nQualifications\n
\n
\n4+ years of industrial and engineering design experience in Expansion Joints..\n
\nExperience and Knowledge of key Customer's within the region.\n
\nQualification Testing of various SSS products for use in the Energy sector.\n
\nDegree Qualified with an Engineering discipline.\n
\nSafe handling of digital tools such as SAP S4H, CAD tool Inventor, use of PDM system, calculation tools, etc.\n
\nBasic business administration knowledge\n
\n
