Position Details

• Employment Type: Full Time (1.0 FTE)
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric care to patients ranging from newborns to adolescents.
• Conduct well-child visits, manage acute care needs, and oversee chronic disease management.
• Perform routine developmental screenings, administer immunizations, and provide preventive care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialists, behavioral health providers, care managers, and nursing staff.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation, care coordination, and quality tracking.
• No inpatient rounding, hospital calls, or delivery attendance required.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care models.
• Opportunity to mentor students or residents if desired.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician.
• Valid medical license and DEA registration in the State of Michigan.
• Strong clinical expertise in general pediatrics, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease follow-up.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (experience with EPIC or similar systems preferred).
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Interest in engaging in quality improvement initiatives, population health, or value-based care models is advantageous.
