Position Details- Employment Type: Full Time (1.0 FTE)
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- Deliver comprehensive pediatric care to patients ranging from newborns to adolescents.
- Conduct well-child visits, manage acute care needs, and oversee chronic disease management.
- Perform routine developmental screenings, administer immunizations, and provide preventive care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric subspecialists, behavioral health providers, care managers, and nursing staff.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation, care coordination, and quality tracking.
- No inpatient rounding, hospital calls, or delivery attendance required.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care models.
- Opportunity to mentor students or residents if desired.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician.
- Valid medical license and DEA registration in the State of Michigan.
- Strong clinical expertise in general pediatrics, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease follow-up.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (experience with EPIC or similar systems preferred).
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
- Interest in engaging in quality improvement initiatives, population health, or value-based care models is advantageous.
- Supportive team environment with collaboration among skilled physicians, nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff.
- Minimal phone-only call shared with the group, with nurse triage support provided.
