Key Skills & Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California
- Experience with school-based physical therapy or a strong desire to work within a school setting
- Ability to provide both onsite direct therapy to students and virtual services for IEP meetings and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills for working with educators, families, and other specialists
- Adaptability to adjust direct service schedules as student needs change throughout the year
Role Highlights:
- Begin with some direct service at the start of the academic year to accommodate new student needs
- Collaborate to set up a mutually agreed upon service schedule, which may include bi-weekly or monthly onsite sessions plus teletherapy for meetings and consultation
- Serve through the full 26/27 school year, making a sustained impact on student growth and educational outcomes
- Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to implement IEPs and help each student reach their full potential
