Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services with a diverse K-12 student population. This position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll support a caseload of 55-60 students, working closely with educators and families to help every child reach their communication goals. Fluency in Spanish is essential to meet the needs of both students and their families.
What you'll bring:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas.
- Certification as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-12 students.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide individual or group speech-language therapy.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Track student progress and maintain meticulous documentation.
- Communicate findings and strategies to educators and parents.
- Support students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
