Bring your enthusiasm to support young learners as a Paraprofessional across multiple elementary schools just north of San Francisco. Opportunity awaits for 10 dedicated Instructional Aides to join a welcoming team for the upcoming academic year, working closely with students in a general education setting. Your compassion and flexibility will make a difference, whether working with Transitional Kindergarten-Kindergarteners or students in grades 1-5.

In this welcoming environment, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve success while working full-time, Monday through Friday. Your day will begin as early as 7:45am and finish as late as 3:00pm, depending on specific school needs, totaling 32.5 hours each week. The schedule offers balance for those who enjoy early mornings and afternoons off.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience or interest in working with children in a school environment
  • Willingness to assist with toileting and diapering for younger students as needed
  • Comfortable supporting a variety of age groups (TK-5th grade)
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate within a team setting
  • Commitment to completing required para training before starting the assignment
  • Dependability in commuting to Mill Valley and factoring toll fees if crossing the bridge

Key responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers with instructional and behavioral activities
  • Provide direct assistance to students, fostering their growth and confidence
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom community
  • Assist with daily routines, student supervision, and personal care when needed
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure the best outcomes for all learners
