Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment focuses on early childhood education, working with children ages 3–5 in the ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) program. Starting August 25, 2026, and continuing through June 10, 2027, you’ll play a vital role in helping young students achieve crucial communication milestones in a welcoming, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with early childhood populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 3-5
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Updated and detailed resume highlighting your relevant background

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services for students with diverse speech/language needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere to encourage students’ growth
