Step into a fulfilling and dynamic part-time contract role supporting students and teams for the 26/27 school year! This position is perfect for experienced School Psychologists interested in early childhood assessments, eager to make a difference in a flexible, collaborative environment.
In this on-site role, you’ll contribute 14-15 hours per week on the preschool arena testing team. The work centers on early intervention and evaluation, particularly around autism assessments for children approaching age three. Collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist and two seasoned Diagnosticians to conduct high-quality, multidisciplinary evaluations.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in arena assessments for preschool-aged children, focusing on autism evaluations
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments through a team-based approach
- Ensure assessments and documentation align with district and state regulations
- Offer insights and recommendations for early intervention and individualized support
- Start work between mid-August, aligning with school-year scheduling
- No CPI certification required
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (state-appropriate)
- Previous experience with preschool/early childhood evaluations is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Expertise in autism spectrum assessment preferred
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
