Special Education Teacher | Glendale Heights, Illinois

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive school environment! We are seeking dedicated professionals to fulfill four contract openings for the 2026-2027 academic year. These onsite positions are located in the Glendale Heights, IL area, offering opportunities to work with elementary and middle school students in inclusion/resource and structured classroom settings.

Your assignment could include:

• Hall Elementary: Inclusion/resource role supporting a caseload of 9-10 students.
• Reskin Elementary: Two positions available—one for inclusion/resource (6-9 students), and one for a structured classroom with high-incidence needs (5 students, 2 paraprofessionals for classroom support).
• Marquardt Middle School: Co-taught/instructional ELA classroom with a caseload of 8-9 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active PEL with LBS1 endorsement (required)
• Background in special education and comfort managing diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Experience supporting students in both inclusion/resource and structured settings is highly valued
• Willingness to assist with toileting or behavior management as needed
• Collaborative spirit and willingness to work alongside general education teachers and paraprofessionals

• Design and implement IEPs for students on caseload
• Differentiate instruction to address individual student needs
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers
