Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ communication and academic growth as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a difference in the lives of elementary-aged children within a supportive school environment. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 3:25pm, beginning August 25, 2026, and concluding June 18, 2027.
What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with K5–3rd grade students is a plus
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and developing individualized plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students in a K5–3rd grade building, with a starting caseload of approximately 40-45 students (not to exceed 60)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for new referrals and re-evaluations throughout the year
- Maintain detailed service logs and manage caseload records accurately
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom interventions and accommodations
- Participate in IEP and MET team meetings, contributing insights and expertise to facilitate student success
- Serve as a case manager, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance
