Job Opportunity: Orthopedic Surgeon

Our organization is a physician-led multispecialty group with over 650 providers, actively seeking a full-time, residency-trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This role will be part of a dynamic surgical practice that serves the region from Nampa to Baker City. The ideal candidate will adopt a proactive approach to developing practices that cater to the healthcare needs of Eastern Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a comprehensive range of general orthopedic services, including total joint replacements and rehabilitation for athletes recovering from injuries.
  • Maintain a patient-centered focus in all aspects of care.
  • Engage in practice development initiatives to enhance service delivery across the communities we serve.
  • Participate in a typical clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring a minimum of 32 patient contact hours weekly, along with procedures, rounding, and consultations.
Support and Resources
  • Access to 24/7 CRNA anesthesia support.
  • Collaboration with various specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, and endoscopy.
  • Utilization of hospital-based imaging services, including a 24/7 radiology department with in-house coverage for general radiology and CT.
  • After-hours call coverage for ultrasound and nuclear medicine, as well as MRI and services at the Breast Care Center.
  • Integration with the Saint Alphonsus network of specialty and primary care clinics.
  • Work within a Level 2 Trauma Hospital located in Boise, ID.
Qualifications
  • Board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS), or the ability to obtain certification within three years.
  • Possession of Idaho and Oregon medical licenses, along with privileges at SABCH and other affiliated hospitals as required.
  • Valid registration for controlled substances with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
