\n\n\n$15,000 Sign On with 2 Year Commitment
\n$5,000 Relocation Bonus (For Eligible Applicants)
\nEligible applicants only. Two-year employment commitment required.
\n\nSchedule Information:
\n Full-time
Day and Night Shifts (6am to 6:45pm or 6pm to 6:45am)
\nAvailability varies and will be confirmed at the time of the interview.
\nEvery other weekend required
\n
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of techniques and treatment modalities for patients of varying ages, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric.
\nDocuments all pertinent data on the patient’s medical record after completing service.
\nAdministers respiratory therapy treatments, understanding the purpose and posible side effects of each.
\nDemonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment, remaining alert to possible side effects.
\nSets up and monitors mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning.
\nPerforms arterial punctures to obtain blood samples for gas analysis, understanding complications and contraindications.
\nAssesses patient needs and tolerance for treatment, reassessing responses to therapy.
\nFormulates and evaluates teaching plans based on patient learning needs, including family involvement as appropriate.
\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology [Required] \n
- Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems [Required] \n
- Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements [Required] \n
- Ability to ensure infection control [Required] \n
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including documentation in the patient care record (EMR), and ability to use and adapt to computer systems and applications [Required] \n
- Airway management skills, including insertion and maintenance of a patent airway [Required] \n
- Ability to provide optimal respiratory support including administration of oxygen and Heliox, administration of inhaled medications, lung expansion, and bronchial hygiene therapy [Required] \n
- Ability to appropriately initiate, operate, manage, and liberate non-invasive and invasive modes of mechanical ventilation [Required] \n
- Ability to perform ABG Puncture, analysis, arterial cannulation using sterile procedure, and hemodynamic monitoring [Required] \n
- Ventilator patient transportation [Required] \n
- Knowledge and skill to care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient in a health care delivery system [Required] \n
Education:

Field of Study:

- in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science \n
Work Experience:
\n- \n
- 1+ years experience as a respiratory therapist [Preferred] \n
Licenses and Certifications:

- State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) [Required] OR NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) [Required] OR State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] \n
Pay Range:
\n$26.08 - $48.50\n\n
